B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration - Degree Course

The Bachelor of Science Programme in Hospitality and Hotel Administration is a 3-year course recognized by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) New Delhi. The Three-year (Six Semester) full time regular course equips students with all the required skills, knowledge and attitude to efficiently discharge supervisory responsibilities in the Hospitality sector. The Programme also involves in-depth laboratory work for students to acquire required knowledge and skill standards in the operational areas of Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, Front Office Operation and House Keeping. It also provides managerial inputs in Hotel Accountancy, Food Safety & Quality, Human Resource Management, Facility Planning, Financial Management, Strategic Management, Tourism Marketing and Tourism Management.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Class 12 pass candidate with minimum of 40% marks in aggregrate in any stream - Science/Arts/Commerce/Vocational from any recognized board
• English should be one of the subject in class 12 and the candidate should have passed in English subject
• There is no age bar

Scholarship:

• The institute offers scholarships to meritorious students from Sikkim as a fee relaxation initiative.
• Students from Sikkim Domicile are eligible for a 50% scholarship on tuition fees
• Other students from any other states receive a 30% scholarship on tuition fees
• This applies to all course/programs offered by the institute
• Reservation as per government rules
